that wasn’t a bad play from raymer.. with his flush draw and two overs.. he was almost %50 to win that pot

  5. larrymcg421 says:

Because he wants to take down the pot right away. If he does get called, then he he gets two chances to hit his outs.

also is the reason that if Raymer just gets called then misses the turn and has to act out of position – he then either has to move in blind and risk making a mistake, or the other risk of checking and being priced out of the pot when Mike puts him allin. A tricky spot for Raymer and he elected to make the actually less risky play of moving in first on the flop

it was a ballsy call from mike but he let his emotions get the best of him and should have mucked obviously in heinsight but he had 2nd pair and was at best a coin flip for half his chips, wait for a better spot than that

  8. buddyuranidiot says:

mike is great but he should have folded and waited for a better spot

PartyPoker has dropped their bonus release requirements by 75%! Signup and get the normal $500 signup bonus that you get anyway, but if you use the old party bonus code “SIGNUP” you get monthly existing player bonuses, and most get nice cash surprises from time to time if you play at least once a month.
