player 1 has a K -3 off suit, player 2 has a K-8 off suit, the flop turns up a 5-A-5,the turn a Q, the river a J. there are no flushes .

I believe this is a split pot because the Ace of ♦ is in the community cards which means everyone shares it and every player has the highest flush possible (Because in a flush you can only use 1 card to make the best flush, in this situation it was a flush to ace which meant everyone’s flush was equal)
Can you use a second high flush card?
Am i right or wrong?
Is this a split pot?

This is not a split pot. You go by the highest 5 card hand.

All I know is that texas holdem is winnable (player vs player), but most other games (roulette, craps, ,etc.) at the casino have a “house advantage”, rendering you unable to win in the long run. What other games at casinos, like at Las Vegas, are actually winnable, provided you have the skill?
Sorry, just to clarify, I meant what games are winnable statistically in the long term. All I can think of is holdem since you’re not playing against the house, blackjack if you count cards. I don’t think baccarat works because even though your chance of winning is greater, the amount you win is less.
Well you’re not exactly correct in saying you can’t win poker either because they take their rake… you just don’t win as much as if they didn’t take their rake. The reason you can win is because you are winning money from fellow players, and the house takes some of it. Blackjack if card counted, you can win, which is legal too, but they might kick you out.

It’s supposed to imply that Peter was calling the guy’s bluff about shooting the hostage. Does this seem like something Family Guy would do?
