If you're making money at the $20 SNGs, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to win a $11 SNG in 19 or less tries most of the time. As far as how many satellites to try before buying in, I'd say that's up to you. If you fully intend on buying in even if you can't win a satellite, I'd play less than 6. If you can sit out if you don't make it, then it really doesn't matter. Just continue to play them until you feel you know whether or not you can come out ahead (i.e., win more than 1 in 19 tries). FYI: Check your FPP count. You can buy into some of the satellites for that tournament with your FPP points. Losing these is a lot less painful than losing cash IMO.
