    needed 30%, you have 8 outs ->17,4%
    but considering implied odds plus your position I think you have an call here.

    At 3:30 when u have AK for the second time in a row, u say u don’t make the same bet with the same hand. In a way u did. UTG limped in, u raised 4 times the bb, wich is basicly the same when no one limps and u raise 3 times the bb, or is it? When u normally bet 3 times the bb preflop, and, let’s say, 3 people before u limp, u gotta raise 6 times the big blind, so the limpers can’t get the right pot odds to call your raise. Please correct me if i’m wrong.

    You’re right. You found an inconsistency

    every time i play a bluff someone calls and not re-raises me (normally with nothing too) what do you suggest?

  11. rbraddy2 says:

    Bluffing is a complex move, one that takes the right timing and situation. I go into lots of details on bluffing (and more) in my e-book, which you can find here:

    Good luck!

    Your raise at 27:10 has no value, he is only calling if you are beat. You made a lot of weak plays in this tournament i.e. folding ace high shorthanded, folding king high heads up. You were lucky to have such a tight/passive/weak table and caught a LOT of cards.

  13. rioloca says:

    at 17:59 you went all in, why that? you only had a pair of 5; the lowest pair possible so far… what if the other had a pair of 8s or 10s? because he raised in the beginning which meant, he has a strong hand…

  14. rioloca says:

    oh, i guess i should have kept on listening a litle more – you just gave the answer… sorry, never mind…

    I’m not sure I agree with your comment about being chip leader and just being patient and letting the smaller guys knock each other out. That’s when I get very aggressive because they’re thinking the same thing “If I avoid that raise, one of the other small stacks will go out and I’ll make the money”.

  16. phook85 says:

    is it possible to play sit n go for a living?

  17. KowboyCa says:

    You say betting the same hand differently so others dont get a read on hand strength, well if your hand is won without showdown then technically they don’t know what hand you had anyway, so raising AK 2 different amounts doesn’t mean too much, in fact mainly your raises should be based on how many limpers there are, or the general action before you, which I think was your case for raising 4xbb with 1 limper and 3x when first to open it. Using that method will hide your hand strength anyway.
